Our Spiritual Leader is a Holy
Ghost fill woman of God,
Missionary Mother Annie M.
Bracey. Mother Bracey has
been a missionary for nearly
50 years. She is the founder
of Blessed Hope Way Of The
Cross Church in New Bern
NC. We are a young Church
only 14 years old, with a
small but growing young
congregation. We open this
website to fill a need for
those who are seeking
salvation and biblical
knowledge and
understanding of the Word.

Elder Wm. Smith Sr.

Mother Bracey was a Holy Ghost filled woman of
God, she was born in 1925 died in Dec. 20, 2006,
one of 12 brothers and sisters. She was first
baptized when she was 12 years old. She was
baptized again 20 years later in the name of Jesus.

Mother Bracey has one biological son Elder Wm.
Smith Sr. (Sonny), and a host of god-children. In
1946 she got married to Eugene Bracey.

After her father death in 1949 she moved to New
York City. While in New York City she became a
Missionary a Bethel Way of the Cross Church, and
she helped to build the church from a store front, to a
building capable of holding 500 worshipers.

She worked at Presbyterian Medical center Hospital
for 39 years. She was also the 1199 union
representative before retiring in 1988, and return to
New Bern North Carolina to live.
She founded Blessed Hope Way Of The Cross
Church Inc., on November 19 of 1992 in New Bern
NC.
Mother has been the spiritual leader of Blessed Hope
for the last past 12 years
She has 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
