Mother Bracey celebrated her 80th birthday, in 2005. She is a Holy
Ghost filled woman of God, and as she say "No one who knows her
and tell the truth can spot her life."
Mother Bracey was born in a small rural town in North Carolina called
Mesic. She was one of 12 brother and sisters, 3 brothers and 9 sisters.
In 1948 she and her husband Eugene, decided to relocate to New York
City. They were separated shortly their after. Mother Bracey became a
member of Bethel Way Of The Cross Church. A small Store front
church which she help to build into a large church capable of holding a
congregation of over 500. She became a Missionary while there, and
start the board of missionary, the Choir,Willing works, Prayer band,
and others.
Mother Bracey retired from Medical Center Hospital after 38 years of
employment there', she returned to New Bern North Carolina in 1988
She has one child ( Elder: William Smith Sr.)
5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren..and a host of godchildren
